We travelled by van for 4 hours and took a 4 hour houseboat cruise to get us to this oasis. What a phenomenal place. I will upload some pictures later – we are in a bird sanctuary for two nights. Eric is in his element and life here is very good! More to come

Buckingham Palace magically appeared as we tried to complete an errand. We wanted to find the Bank of Scotland for Dale to pay for his South Africa Conference fee. Don’t ask why, but it was supposed to be easy. However, the bank wasn’t where it was supposed to be and the Bank doesn’t actually exist and we went to the Halifax bank and all was well. On the way we saw Hyde Park, the London Eye, the German Christmas Market and a high street! Life is good. Now we are having supper with Valerie and a good sleep until we leave for India tomorrow. Let the adventures begin.
